The sea harbours semi-permanent structures, such as drilling rigs or wind farms. People are regularly present on these structures in order to carry out everyday tasks or maintenance work. Communication between a drilling rig and helicopters and/or ships is therefore of huge importance, as is communication between the mainland and the maintenance teams at the wind farm.
