St. Marys airport is one of the few links between the Scilly Isles and the mainland. It plays an essential role in the transport of residents, visitors and employees to and from the islands.
The airport is one of the 10 busiest regional airports in the UK. In 2014, over 8500 flight movements were facilitated and over 90,000 passengers were landed. MEP supplied the main system for the air traffic controllers.
